Thomian Association of California takes part in
several community based sports event in
California each year.
The first Royal Thomian was a softball match and since then an annual Battle of the Blues takes place during the memorial weekend at the end of May.
The OTAC also plays in the Rugby Sevens Tournament organized by RCOBANA (Royal College Old Boys Association of North America).
A Ladies Cricket Match has developed and now takes place on the same day of the Battle of the Blues.
Participation in Lanka Fest is also becoming an annual staple featuring Six-A-Side cricket team, tug o' war and relay races.
