On
September 29, 2007 the Old Thomians of
California hosted their Biennial function in
style. The Old Thomians know how to organize
and host a party that provides maximum
entertainment for the $$!
The Committee met often in the months leading up to the Dance and the goal was to convince the Old Thomians and the greater Sri Lankan community to fork out the $95 and trust the Old Thomians to put on a great show – and they did. Every little detail was discussed and addressed. From the intricately designed table décor to the split minute timing of the dance sets by the band.

The days
preceding the 20th Annual California-USA Roy
Tho were full of bad weather and stormy
conditions were prevalent the morning of. The
game was delayed and under very gloomy skies,
the toss was a super one to win… and Rohan
Jayasekera (former one test Sri Lankan wicket
keeper and Canadian National player) did just
that.

The Cricket team was captained by Raj Sivalingam and the Tug O' War team was organized by Akila and Mahen Gunatillake.
OTAC boys and families go together at the Thomian tent. Former OTAC Secretary, Ranesh Peiris is the official voice of Lanka Fest. Lanka Fest is organized by Palaama.org.
Krishan
Sirimanne has been diagnosed for Focal
Segmental Glumorities (FSG). Due to this
unforeseen deficiency Krishan is now living
with 18% to 20% of kidney function and
diabetics. He has been referred to UCLA for
kidney transplant with scheduled dialysis
treatment.
